During this process a blend of chemicals including sodium hydroxide and sodium sulfide is utilized to dissolve the fibers.

The resulting pulp is then shaped into rolls and sheets of various dimensions. The unbleached characteristic of kraft paper helps to maintain its strength and longevity. Furthermore this sandy coloured paper boasts excellent breathability preventing moisture absorption making it an optimal choice for wrapping fresh meat.

Below are the typical printing methods that we utilize:

  • Flexographic Printing
  • Offset Printing
  • Digital Printing

Coatings

To enhance the functional characteristics of your butcher paper sheets including their ability to withstand water heat and grease it is essential to apply coatings. These coatings provide distinct properties as seen with silicone coatings that bestow parchment paper with exceptional heat resistance. Likewise the addition of wax results in wax paper which offers moisture resistance. However it is important to note that to maintain the primary function of butcher paper we advise against the use of coatings as they can diminish the paper’s breathability and heat resistance.

Heat Resistance

The heat resistance of paper is influenced by several elements including the production method and any coatings applied. Typically butcher paper roll can endure temperatures up to 450°F. Pink custom butcher paper exhibits excellent heat resistance making it suitable for use in ovens microwaves and air fryers. However it is crucial to refrain from using wax-coated paper at high temperatures. Furthermore, When we are using custom printed butcher paper sheets in an airfryer, it’s important to make sure that they do not block airflow or when coming into contact with fire elements. It is essential to avoid using butcher paper on stove tops as it poses a fire risk.
